Betfair have suspended betting on Jadon Sancho joining Manchester United following a flurry of bets in the last hour.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has identified Sancho as his top target this summer as he continues moulding the United squad after securing a Champions League spot ahead of next season.
United are reportedly locked in discussions over completing a deal for Sancho for an initial fee significantly below Dortmund's £108m asking price, with subsequent instalments set to take the deal past £100million.
Sancho trained with his Dortmund team-mates this morning - including new signing Jude Bellingham - but there is a sense it now it won't be long before a deal is agreed as the saga ramps up following the official opening of the transfer window.
The 20-year-old is believed to be keen on a move to Old Trafford and all parties are confident a deal can be done.
However, should talks break down United will consider a move for Kingsley Coman.
