Jadon Sancho to Manchester United: Dortmund unsure if star will stay, admits Lucien Favre

Borussia Dortmund manager Lucien Favre says the club "do not know" if Jadon Sancho will be at the club next season.

Standard Sport understands that the forward remains Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's key summer transfer target despite finances in football being hit by the coronavirus pandemic.

Sancho is understood to want a return to England having left Manchester City three years ago, but would command a fee north of £100million.

Favre, who is also facing losing full-back Achraf Hakimi this summer as his loan spell from Real Madrid ends, has admitted to doubts over Sancho's future.

"We'll see after the season," Favre said of his squad under transfer speculation.

He added: "Of course, players will leave. We hope the players will stay, but it is possible that players will leave.

"You have already mentioned two [Achraf Hakimi and Sancho] that we don't definitely know about.

"Of course, they could stay with us, which would be very good for me. But we'll see what we'll do, whether it's in defence, midfield or attack."
