Jadon Sancho sends message to Liverpool linked Erling Haaland after Manchester United transfer

Jadon Sancho has sent an interesting message to Liverpool-linked Erling Haaland after signing for Manchester United.

United signed Sancho from Borussia Dortmund in a £73m deal earlier this week, leaving Haaland behind at the Bundesliga club.

Haaland has been tentatively linked with a move to Liverpool in recent months, as have most of the biggest clubs across Europe, though a huge money move for the Norwegian is highly unlikely to be authorised by FSG.

Chelsea are another whose interest is thought to be strong, with reports over he past month saying that Dortmund have already rejected offers for the Norway international.

The 21-year-old only joined Dortmund in January last year, but quickly became friendly with Sancho during the forward's time at Signal Iduna Park.

After it was confirmed that Sancho had joined Man United, Haaland sent a message on social media to wish his friend well. Sancho then responded with an intriguing message.

"Good luck on your next journey bro," wrote Haaland. "We had some good times together! Can't wait to see you shine!"

Sancho responded to the post: "A connection like no other, we will soon meet again brother. Take care and good luck to you too."

Dortmund remain firm that Haaland will not be sold this summer despite a £70m release clause coming into effect next summer which will surely alert potentially interested clubs.

The Bundesliga side are on the verge of completing the signing of Donyell Malen from PSV Eindhoven as a replacement for Sancho despite Liverpool fans wanting to see the Dutchman at Anfield next year.
