Jadon Sancho's 'most likely destination' revealed as Chelsea learn transfer deadline

Chelsea have suffered a potential transfer blow with Jadon Sancho's 'most realistic destination' being Premier League rivals Manchester United, according to reports.

Sky Sports claim that, as it stands, Old Trafford is where Sancho will most likely end up next season if he does indeed leave Borussia Dortmund.

Personal terms are not expected to be an issue, with United said to have held negotiations with the 21-year-old last summer.

The Blues have also been linked with a move for the England winger, though, with Thomas Tuchel reportedly an admirer and looking to bolster his attacking options before the start of the 2021/22 campaign.

However, it might have to be an alternative to Sancho, if this report is to be believed.

Also, according to SportBild, Sancho wants to know where he will be playing his football next season before he plays at the Euros in the summer for England.

So this doesn't give too much time for Chelsea or United to try and negotiate a deal, with Dortmund reportedly willing to sell him for around £80million - more than £20m less what they wanted demanded last summer.

The Bundesliga club are also looking for alternatives to Sancho, should the former Manchester City man leave, with Lille's Jonathan Ikone and Monaco's Sofiane Diop both on Dortmund's radar.

Callum Hudson-Odoi is also reportedly wanted by Dortmund, with the winger struggling to cement a spot in the first team under Tuchel.

However, Goal are reporting that the young wide man is keen to stay and fight for his place at Stamford Bridge, despite rumours he could be used as part of a deal for Sancho.

The Blues 'remain convinced' of the 20-year-old's ability and huge potential despite losing his place in the team, with Hudson-Odoi not wanting to leave the west London club himself.
