Jadon Sancho's Manchester United form mocked with James Bond reference

Jadon Sancho’s first few months at Manchester United have not gone to plan, and it hasn't gone unnoticed back in his former stomping ground of Germany.

After a protracted two-year transfer saga, United in the summer finally reached an agreement with Borussia Dortmund to sign the England international in a deal worth £73million.

Having forged a reputation in the Bundesliga as one of the game's most creative and devastating wingers with a keen eye for goal, Sancho has yet to register a goal or assist for United.

On a transfer update show, Sky Germany unveiled a graphic of Sancho dressed in a tuxedo alongside a caption, which read: "They call me 007.”

In a clear James Bond spoof, the graphic also showed the 21-year-old's numbers for the Premier League season.

“0 goals. 0 assists. 7 games,” a clear reference to Bond’s 007 number.

Sancho was an unused substitute against Liverpool in the 5-0 defeat at Old Trafford on Sunday.
