Jadon Sancho's transfer to Manchester United was officially confirmed on Friday afternoon and it sparked waves of messages about the transfer.
After his £73m deal was finally announced, he received well wishes from former club Borussia Dortmund and his former teammates including hotshot striker Erling Haaland.
The two spent 18 months together at Signal Iduna Park and struck up a fantastic connection, with the Norwegian striker scoring 57 goals in 59 games since his arrival at the club. But while there has been plenty of talk surrounding his own future, Haaland took the time out to write a goodbye message to his attacking partner in crime following his move away from the club.
Writing on Instagram with a picture of the two celebrating a goal together, Haaland said;
"Good luck on your next journey bro, we had some good times together! Can't wait to see you shine!"
Sancho saw the message later that day and responded in the comments of the post, writing; "A connection like no other, we will soon meet again brother. Take care and good luck to you to."
The 21-year-old winger was handed the number 25 shirt upon his arrival at the club and will link up with the first-team squad upon the end of his holidays following participation with England at Euro 2020 this summer.
He could make his debut for the club in the opening Premier League game of the season when United host Leeds United at Old Trafford on August 14th.
