Jadon Sancho has returned to training with his Borussia Dortmund while his club continues negotiations with Manchester United over a summer transfer.
Sancho is top of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's wishlist but Dortmund have reportedly set a deadline of August 10 for any deal to be agreed as they are conscious not to allow the transfer saga to span the length of the summer window.
It is understood that United are yet to submit a formal offer for Sancho despite reports in Germany suggesting BVB have already rejected an £89million bid, but it looks as though United, Dortmund and Sancho all want a deal to go through.
The Bundesliga club are standing firm over their £108million valuation, though it is thought they could accept a lower fee up front with subsequent payments staggered over the coming years.
Sancho scored 17 goals and set up a further 17 assists across 32 league games last season and though he is preparing for the 2020-21 campaign with his Dortmund team-mates, he is expected to move on this summer.
However, should negotiations collapse, United are looking at Kingsley Coman as an alternative.
