Jadon Sancho or Kai Havertz? Manchester United face transfer dilemma as coronavirus forces rethink

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks certain to bolster his attacking options during the summer transfer window as he looks to turn his side into genuine challengers to the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City.

While names such as Jack Grealish, James Maddison and Harry Kane have been touted, it is Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho who has for some time appeared to be top of the Norwegian’s shopping list.

However, with fears over his price tag proving too steep, United are also keeping tabs on Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Havertz as a possible alternative.

Old Trafford chief Ed Woodward said last week that the idea of spending hundreds of millions of pounds on players in the wake of the coronavirus shutdown did not seem feasible.

That would spell trouble as far as a move for Sancho is concerned, with Dortmund seemingly unwilling to budge on their £120m asking price and under no pressure to sell.

Havertz, already a regular for the German national side, would represent a cheaper alternative, but which would you sign?
