Jadon Sancho names "crazy" Man Utd front-three without Cristiano Ronaldo

After one of the lengthiest transfer sagas in recent memory, this summer marked the transfer window where Manchester United finally got their man in Jadon Sancho.

The 21-year-old England international was prized away from Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund, costing the Red Devils £73m in the process - making him the third most expensive player in Old Trafford history.

Having already made a trio of United appearances, two of which came in the form of cameo appearances off the bench, Sancho is still getting to grips with the rigours of the Premier League - yet to complete 90 minutes for his new side.

It was a summer window to remember for the United faithful, not just signing Sancho but also securing the signature of former Real Madrid stalwart Raphael Varane at a relative bargain fee of £45m.

Remarkably, the thunder of both Sancho and Varane was somewhat stolen by five-time Ballon D'or Cristiano Ronaldo after he sealed his return to Old Trafford 12 years after he left for Madrid.

However, Sancho feels United's squad is so strong that Ronaldo may not be necessary for every game, as there are a number of other talented stars waiting in the wings.

Speaking to UMM ahead of the launch of all three of United's kits for the upcoming season, Sancho discussed the idea of playing alongside his England teammates Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood at club level.

"That’s going to be a crazy link up when Marcus gets back", Sancho explained. "Obviously I’ve seen a bit of Mason recently in training - he’s crazy.

"We’re still getting to know each other, obviously movements and things like that, getting our understanding, but it’s going to be crazy all three of us on the pitch."

It has been a bright start to the new season for United as whole, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side currently sit third in the Premier League after three games played with seven points.

When pressed on his feelings about finally becoming a Man Utd player, Sancho expressed his delight, explaining: "I haven’t stopped smiling. I’m just happy to be here and be part of the Red Devils and the team. Especially when I made my debut - the lads have been very good with me and made it easier.

"I’m going to keep playing my game. I’m not going to change what I’ve been doing over in Germany. I’ve just got to bring it here and hopefully I can show the fans what I can deliver."
