Jadon Sancho makes transfer admission amid Liverpool links

Jadon Sancho has broken his silence on his future amid reported links over a move to Liverpool.

The Reds have been tentatively linked with a move to sign the Borussia Dortmund forward, with the Bundesliga outfit said to want £80m for his services.

Manchester United were the club who were strongly linked with his signature last summer, with the Bundesliga club demanding a fee in excess of £100m 12 months ago.

However, it has been said that Dortmund are willing to accept a lower fee this summer, after a “gentleman’s agreement” was struck to allow Sancho to leave should a suitable offer come in.

Sancho was in action for Dortmund on Saturday as he scored twice in a 3-2 win over RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga.

The brace saw the former Man City winger take his goal tally for the season to 14 in all competitions, to accompany the 18 assists to his name.

With Sancho’s future still up in the air, he was asked whether he could see himself leaving Dortmund at the end of the season.

“Will I leave the club? I don’t know about my future,” Sancho is quoted telling ESPN.

“I am very happy here in Dortmund at the moment. I love the club, the fans and the team.

“They gave me my first professional start”.
