Jadon Sancho makes Jude Bellingham prediction amid Liverpool transfer rumours

Soon to be Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho believes Jude Bellingham can reach the top of world football.

Bellingham has already endeared himself to Liverpool supporters with his repeated displays of admiration for Anfield legend Steven Gerrard.

The 18-year-old midfielder named Gerrard as the player past or present he would most want to swap shirts with amid suggestions he could return to England from Borussia Dortmund.

Bellingham more recently shared a compilation of Gerrard’s best moments in a Liverpool shirt on Twitter and was bombarded with excited Reds fans in the replies.

The teenager was linked with Liverpool last year before Dortmund beat Manchester United to his signature in a £25million deal from Birmingham City.

Bellingham has since underlined his reputation as one of the most highly-rated young players in the world with a string of impressive performances in the Champions League and the Bundesliga.

Sancho won't be a teammate of Bellingham's for much longer having agreed a switch to United and believes the midfielder can achieve anything he wants in the game after his remarkable rise in the last two years.

“The sky’s the limit for the guy,” Sancho told England’s official YouTube channel.

“He is a great footballer, he is mature for his age, which is very surprising, because I think when I was 18, I was not that mature at all.”

Bellingham was seen racing over to celebrate with Henderson after the Liverpool captain scored his first England goal in the 4-0 win against Ukraine in Saturday's quarter-final.

Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate said: “I loved some of the reaction on the bench when Hendo scored because you could see the younger players were totally delighted for him.

“There’s a lovely moment with Jude that shows you what Hendo brings to our environment that the players were so pleased for him. We all were.”

The youngster has been repeatedly linked with Liverpool with Dortmund reportedly keen to see the former Birmingham youngster sign a new contract.
