Jadon Sancho likes social media post about Liverpool star Sadio Mane

England winger Jadon Sancho recently liked a Twitter post applauding Liverpool star Sadio Mane.

Borussia Dortmund's Sancho has been linked with a move to Anfield in recent months, with many Reds fans hoping for a deal to be done for the 19-year-old who looks a neat fit for Jurgen Klopp's brand of football.

The tweet in question praises Mane's down-to-earth personality, and his selfless contributions at a Liverpool mosque .

The post ended with '#LFC' and was written by a heavily Liverpool-based account.

Sancho seemingly liked the tweet earlier this week from his own official Twitter profile.

Klopp has previously spoken about his admiration for Sancho - but highlighted how unlikely a transfer move would be.

The boss said last month: "He’s a very good player. I have no clue where these kind of things are coming from, but it cannot come from us because we never speak about it.

"If we would be involved, nobody would know about it apart from a person who wouldn’t speak about it. There's nothing to say.

"Cost? That’s one issue, 100 per cent that would be an issue. But there’s nothing to say about it.

"I know how it sounds, but I cannot change that. There’s nothing to say about it, which can mean there’s absolutely nothing to say about it."

Another superstar who has been tentatively linked with a Liverpool switch is Kylian Mbappe.

He recently liked a post on Twitter featuring Trent Alexander-Arnold, which showed the Liverpool defender celebrating his goal against Leicester by adopting the PSG star's trademark pose.

Again, Klopp has spoken about the huge hurdles that would be involved in any deal for Mbappe - and why Liverpool would have "no chance".

But given the position the Reds are in as European champions and Premier League leaders, some fans are still daring to dream about what could be possible in the transfer market.
