Jadon Sancho hints at a Premier League return to put Manchester United on red alert

Borussia Dortmund teen sensation Jadon Sancho has hinted that he will return to the Premier League.

The England international has become one of the hottest prospects in European football with his performances in Germany.

Sancho's performances have also established himself as a first-team starter for England under Gareth Southgate.

Manchester United are amongst a host of other global powerhouses which have been linked with a move for the 19-year-old over the last 12 months.

Now, the tricky winger, who left Manchester City to sign for Dortmund only two years ago, has now revealed that he would be tempted to return to the Premier League.

"I can't tell the future but I wouldn't mind (returning to the Premier League).

"La Liga I wouldn't mind also, but we don't know yet. I feel every league is very competitive. The Premier League is one of the best leagues in the world, everyone knows that."

However, whilst Sancho hasn't ruled out a potential change of scenery later down the line, he insisted he isn't fazed by speculation over his future.

He believes his move to Germany has helped him to avoid distracted, which has also helped to take him away from the limelight.

"I don't really try to take notice of all the media," Sancho said. "I just try to stay focused on my game.

"Obviously being in Germany has taken off the pressure of the media and I think that's really helping me a lot and keeping me focused."

Sancho is in line to start for England when they take on Bulgaria and Kosovo in a UEFA European 2020 qualifiers doubleheader.

The England international will be vying for a place against Marcus Rashford, to join Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling in a dynamic, pacey three-pronged attack.
