Jadon Sancho finally made his Manchester United debut against Leeds in the Premier League opening game of the season.
The England international completed a £72.9m move to Old Trafford from Borussia Dortmund this summer after a protracted transfer saga that lasted the best part of two years.
United fans were excited to see him in action and, after initially being named on the bench for the game, Sancho made an appearance as a substitute for the final 15 minutes of the game.
With the score already at 5-1 thanks to Paul Pogba 's four assists and a Bruno Fernandes hat-trick, Sancho replaced the Frenchman to get his first taste of Old Trafford action.
After the game, the 21-year-old took to social media to react to the huge result and perfect start to the season, as well as the link up between Pogba and Fernandes throughout the game.
Accompanying an image of him coming off the bench, Sancho posted the caption " First minutes as a Red, what a start to the season. PP x BF link up" with an emoji of a frozen face.
United legend Rio Ferdinand commented on the post with a dynamite emoji, while former academy graduate DJ Buffonge commented telling Sancho that he was "about to have too much fun on that pitch."
Sancho will be hopeful of earning his first start of the season in next week's fixture against Southampton at St Mary's with no fixture at Old Trafford now until September 11th against Newcastle.
