Jadon Sancho fuels Man Utd transfer speculation with "sacrifice is deep" remark

Jadon Sancho has fuelled speculation of a return to the Premier League, saying the "sacrifice is deep" being away from family and friends.

The 20-year-old England international moved to Germany in 2017 after leaving Manchester City for Dortmund to secure more game time.

Sancho has since established himself as one of the most exciting young players on the planet, and has attracted the attention of Manchester United.

The youngster is tipped to complete a big-money move to the Old Trafford club in the summer and has stoked the flames of this speculation with claims he misses home.

Sancho recently took part in a Q&A on England's official YouTube channel.

The Dortmund star was joined by Micah Richards and another player who moved from England to Germany in pursuit of more opportunities, Reiss Nelson.

Sancho was asked to discuss his experience in Germany, and responded: "Another challenge. This one has been the biggest one yet. Living abroad is a whole different game, away from everyone, family, friends. The sacrifice is deep.

"But, for me at the time, I just felt I was ready to challenge myself and challenge for a place in the first-team and I felt Dortmund was the right place to go at the time.

"Obviously I know their history, they're bringing through young players and I thought I had a real chance there so I took the opportunity and now, three years later, I'm doing well."
