Jadon Sancho frustration for Manchester United continues as transfer insider 'convinced' about Dortmund stay

Borussia Dortmund are convinced Jadon Sancho will not leave for Manchester United before the transfer deadline - according to a report.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants a flying winger to give his side more attacking impetus and has been frustrated in his attempts to secure the former Manchester City kid.

The potential deal has been the most talked about transfer of the summer but pressure is now growing on United power brokers to ensure a deal is agreed with the Bundesliga big boys.

But transfer insider Fabrizio Romano has taken to Twitter to claim that the Germans are now convinced that a deal will not now be completed.

He said: "Borussia Dortmund deny again any transfers reason related to Jadon Sancho’s absence.

"BVB are still convinced that Jadon is gonna stay - they won’t accept any €90m or €100m bid from #MUFC.

"Price will not change on final days of the window"

Romano has earlier reported that Lucien Favre's club will not accept any bid under €120m but United are not keen to pay more than €90m in the current situation with Covid.

Sancho has already agreed personal terms on a five-year deal to joining the Premier League club but the issue remains the two clubs agreeing a transfer fee.

United held a series of discussions with Barcelona over signing Ousmane Dembele as an alternative.

Barcelona value the jet-heeled winger at €100m but United would prefer to agree a loan deal to assess the star before splashing out.
