Jadon Sancho has discussed his time so far at Manchester United and revealed that he hasn't been able to stop smiling.
The 21-year-old winger finally completed a highly anticipated move to the club from Borussia Dortmund this summer for £72.9m, bringing to an end a four-year hunt by United, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer a long-term admirer of him.
After moving to Dortmund as a 17-year-old, Sancho scored 54 goals and assisted 67 times for teammates during his time at the club and the expectation has been high from fans, pundits and media following his transfer back to the Premier League.
Sancho has endeared himself to fans well since arriving, although he's only made three appearances for United so far - and started just once - the England international has revealed to ' UMM ' YouTube channel that he hasn't been able to stop smiling since because of the welcome he received.
Sancho said: “No I haven’t [stopped smiling]. I’m just glad to be here, you know, be part of the Red Devils and just be with the team.
“It’s been nice, especially when I made my debut. The lads have been very good with me and made it easier for me.
“I’m going to just keep playing my game, I’m not going to change what I’ve been doing over in Germany so I’ve just got to bring it here and hopefully I can show the fans what I can deliver."
Sancho will be hoping to continue in the starting line-up against Newcastle this weekend in the Premier League, after being forced to withdraw from the England squad this week with a minor knock.
