Jadon Sancho and the fresh Manchester United transfer spark as Nandos get involved in the signing drama

Leading restaurant chain Nandos have got involved in the signing saga of the summer after they shared a loaded tweet about Jadon Sancho.

Manchester United 's No.1 target looks set to remain with Borussia Dortmund as the Bundesliga big-hitters continue to play transfer hardball over a potential £100m deal.

But according to the company's sponsored Twitter campaign they reckon Sancho has been to Manchester in the search for some grub.

The advert states: "Manchester, Jadon's got his Nando's delivery. Now tell us, who would be the captain of your fantasy Nando's team?"

The social media hijinks comes after Sancho waxed lyrical about fellow rising star Kylian Mbappe and his starring role for Champions League runners-up Paris Saint-Germain.

He added: "I played against Mbappe in the Champions League and I spoke to him after the game.

"We had a little conversation after the game, he said to me “you’re doing really well, keep it up and you’ll get far”. It was nice to have that conversation with him.

"Especially Mbappe, he’s done a lot when you consider his age. He’s won the World Cup, he’s won the league with PSG and Monaco and so you have to respect him in so many ways.

"He kind of carried France in the World Cup which was crazy. Seeing someone that young doing great things like that, it motivates me and was crazy to see."
