Jadeveon Clowney dined with Saints’ Sean Payton on Friday night in Texas

The New Orleans Saints are going all out to try and beat out the Tennessee Titans for Jadeveon Clowney, and that included a visit from head coach Sean Payton, who dined with the free-agent pass-rusher on Friday Night in Texas, where Clowney lives.

Saints beat writer Nick Underhill tweeted out photos from the Instagram account of Clowney’s personal chef, who says she cooked dinner for the former No. 1 overall pick, Payton and two other New Orleans coaches.

The caption on the photo reads:

“Im just really trying to make it more than what it is!
Cause everybody dies but not everybody lives🙌🏾 – @champagnepapi

“Major shoutout to my client @clowney__90 for the opportunity to cook for Sean Payton and two additional New Orleans Saints coaches. They were going out to dinner but he suggested His Chef prepare dinner for them

“They absolutely loved EVERYTHING”

Here’s a look at some of what was served, in case you were wondering. Just a warning: you might be hungry once you’re done.

The Saints and Tennessee Titans were reportedly the two teams making a strong push for Clowney in recent days, and both teams have been using their players and coaches to try and recruit him.

Of course, this dinner doesn’t mean that Clowney will actually sign with New Orleans, but it does show they are certainly putting their best foot forward.

Clowney’s decision is expected to come soon, but with the way this situation has dragged out for so long, there’s no telling if that will come to fruition.
