Jaden Smith has finally addressed the rumours he’s dating Lionel Richie’s daughter and Sott Disick's ex Sofia - and it’s not looking good.
The rumour mill started turning earlier this week when the 22-year-old rapper/singer/actor son of Will Smith was snapped looking cosy on a beach with Sofia.
The pair were seen getting touchy-feely on the sand in Malibu following the model’s split from Keeping Up With The Kardashian’s Scott.
But, the bikini bombshell showed no signs of heartbreak when she hit the beach with Jaden, who she briefly dated in 2012.
Following their Labour Day weekend outing, Jaden has been forced to address their dating rumours - or rather, shut them down.
Appearing on iHeartRadio’s On-Air With Ryan Seacrest on Friday, Jaden said: “You know, I actually don’t look at the internet, so I didn’t see that.
“Me and Sofia have been friends for like 10 years.”
The Summertime in Paris singer insisted the pair are not involved romantically, despite being spotted holding hands and hugging.
“We’ve been going to the beach pretty consistently for 10 years too,” the Karate Kid actor added.
“Yeah, we’re just homies and we love each other and it was fun.”
The pals’ playful beach outing came just two weeks after her ex Scott called time on their three-year on/off romance for good.
Rumours have been flying Scott could get back with his ex Kourtney Kardashian, the mother of his three children.
They have been spending more time with each other in recent months while co-parenting their children and holidaying together.
