Jaden Smith has confirmed he is dating US rapper Tyler the Creator, days after shocking fans with the declaration on-stage last week.
Smith has now confirmed the news, discussing the revelation on Beats 1.
He said: “I recently said that Tyler, The Creator is my boyfriend and that’s true.
“And that’s true. So, just so you know.”
The comments come after Smith took to social media following his performance last week.
He wrote: “Yup @tylerthecreator I Told Everyone You Can’t Deny It Now (sic).”
Tyler later responded, in a since deleted tweet: “Hahaha you a crazy n**** man.”
In a video that emerged online last week, Smith passionately told the crowd: “I just want to say, Tyler The Creator is the best friend in the world and I love him so f****** much.
“Tyler doesn’t want to say, but Tyler’s my mother f****** boyfriend and he’s been my mother f****** boyfriend my whole f****** life!”
Screaming to a crowd of 50,000 people, he concluded: “Tyler The Creator is my f****** boyfriend, if you take anything away from this f****** show, that’s what you take away!”
However 27-year-old Tyler The Creator, real name Tyler Okonma, appeared to disagree as he could be seen shaking his head in the clip.
The video ended with him walking away clearly caught off-guard.
