A teenager has today denied the murder of schoolboy Jaden Moodie who was knocked off his moped and stabbed to death in the street.

Ayoub Majdouline, 18, is accused of being one of five men in a black Mercedes which was allegedly used to ram 14-year-old Jaden’s moped in Leyton on January 8.

The schoolboy was stabbed repeatedly, not far from his grandmother’s home in Waltham Forest, and he died from his injuries.

Majdouline appeared via videolink from HMP Belmarsh this morning, wearing a white Adidas t-shirt and sporting a beard.

He pleaded not guilty to murder and possession of an offensive weapon during today’s hearing.

Majdouline, from Wembley has been remanded in custody until his trial which is due to begin on November 18.

Yusuf Dubbad, 21, of Leyton, had also been accused of Jaden’s murder, but the charge was discontinued this month, prosecutor Oliver Glasgow QC told the court.
