Jade Thirlwall 'throws shade' on Jesy Nelson's departure from group on Drag Race UK vs The World

Little Mix singer Jade Thirlwall seemed to throw shade on Jesy Nelson leaving her pop group after appearing as a guest judge on Drag Race UK vs The World.

Jade was appearing on the show as a guest judge and was there as the five remaining Queens became the 'ultimate mega girl group' before performing their new song London.

She joined fellow judges RuPaul, Michelle Visage, Jade and Graham Norton on the show.

Ahead of the Queens taking to the stage Ru asked Jade: "How did recording with the queens compare to recording with Little Mix?"

Jade replied without a beat: "Oh it's just the same really.

"I bossed everyone around and then there's an ugly rumour going around that one of the girls is leaving the group tonight."

Ru, who is known to come out with quick witted remarks found her answer hilarious and couldn't help but burst out laughing while Michelle gasped in horror.

Viewers at home thought Jade was referring to Jesy's departure from her own band more than twelve months ago in 2020.

Jesy said at the time that 'being in the band has really taken a toll on my mental health.'

And Twitter became awash with comments as people made jokes about 'Jade throwing shade'.

One said: "THE JESY NELSON READ FROM JADE.

Another laughed: "Jade shading Jesy best part of drag race so far."

Someone else replied: "Not the leaving the group comment, Jade the shade."
