Jade Thirlwall's ex-boyfriend Jed Elliott has gotten engaged to his girlfriend.
Jed, who plays bass for rock band The Struts, revealed on Thursday morning that he'd proposed to Virginia Gardner.
He took to his Instagram account to share a snap of them sipping champagne as Virginia, who had tears in her eyes, showed off her diamond ring.
Dressed in a smart short-sleeved black shirt, the musician, 30, had a huge smile on his face as he posed for the photo while they celebrated their engagement.
"Popped a lil' question!" he captioned the snap. "I love you more than anything @ginnygardner."
On her own Instagram page, Viriginia, whose nickname is Ginny, also shared the news.
She added a picture of the couple's pet dog Winston, who has wearing a tag on his collar that read: "Will you marry daddy?"
It seemed that Jed had enlisted the help of their beloved pooch to pop the question to Viriginia.
She captioned the post: "One million times yes. Love you forever and ever."
On her Instagram Stories, she revealed that Jed had proposed by getting down on one knee on a beach.
Jed confirmed he was dating American actress Viriginia last year.
Before that he had been single since his split from Little Mix singer Jade, 28, in 2019 after three years together.
It was claimed their relationship had ended as they spent so much time apart touring with their bands.
A source told the MailOnline at the time: "Jade and Jed have decided to end the relationship.
"There is honestly no big drama, it has just sadly run its course.
"They spent so much time apart as Jed is on tour constantly in the USA with his band The Struts.
"And obviously Jade is super busy with Little Mix promo - and about to start a massive LM5 Tour. The split is amicable and they remain mates."
Meanwhile, Jade has moved on with Rizzle Kicks star Jordan Stephens.
The duo have been dating for over a year and she confessed that they got together after she slid into his DMs and made the first move.
They didn't post any pictures together for months, but had been seen enjoying a romantic holiday together in Italy.
Jade and Jordan, 29, took a big step in their romance late last year when they moved in together to spend the second lockdown together.
