A whole host of North East stars are uniting for a massive lockdown game show on Sunday night and you can join in the fun.
South Shields comedian and actor Davey Hopper will host his Late Night Pot Noodle Game Show, which will be live streamed from The Customs House Facebook page from 9pm for everyone to enjoy.
And Davey has assembled quite a lineup of famous faces from the region to join him for some high jinx. Among the celebs who will no take part, with no real idea of what to expect are Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall, X Factor winner Joe McElderry and Hebburn creator and stand up comic Jason Cook.
Announcing Jade's appearance in a puntastic Little Mix-inspired post, The Customs House wrote: "She has the golden heart of The Customs House & although her Wings were made to fly, she’s never forgotten where she comes from.
"We’ve got to Salute Jade Thirlwall for all she’s done for The Customs House over the years, as although the X Factor can Change Your Life, as if by Black Magic, shes still supporting her home theatre where it all began."
She will also be joined by many others including comedian and radio host Steffen Peddie, Look North's Jeff Brown and BBC Newcastle presenter Alfie Joey, who has revealed he's put together a trivia round for the occasion.
The aim of the Late Night Pot Noodle Game Show is to raise as much money as possible for the Customs House, after the venue, like countless others across the North East and around the UK, was forced to close due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The format for the game show is slightly risque, so the recommended viewing age is 16+.
