Jade Thirlwall denies Little Mix split rumours and hopes for 20 more years with band

Jade Thirlwall has said she wants Little Mix to stay together for another 20 years - rubbishing rumours of a split.

Since the Jesy Nelson blackfishing drama and Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock both becoming mums, there was widespread speculation Little Mix would go their separate ways.

However Jade told Daily Star : "(In another 10 years) I'd like to think we'll still be going then. We'd be doing another tour, another gig with more music.

"I'd love in 20 years' time that there was a fabulous documentary about how amazing we are."

Speaking to Australian radio show Smallzy's Surgery this week, Jade insisted the girls will remain close following the release of their seventh album Between Us and completion of next spring's tour, which is widely considered to be the band's last official commitment.

She said: "No matter what in the future, we'll always have each other. We're a throuple, in this together."

However Little Mix fans are convinced that the band could be splitting up after listening to their new single Between Us.

Leigh-Anne, Jade and Perrie said they will be in 'floods of tears' when they perform the song live.

On their group's Instagram page, the singers sat down for a video where they revealed the song made them cry.

Perrie said: "It's a song we will never be able to get through live".

Leigh-Anne agreed saying: "I think it's a song anyone can relate to. Whether you have lost someone or just have a friend or in a relationship, anyone you truly, truly love, I think this song can be for them."

The song's lyrics include: "When the curtains close and all of the lights go down/ safe to say I'll stay, I will always stick around.

"Remember the day when we finally found our wings/ It changed our lives, gave us power to do anything/ Damn we got history and all these sweet melodies."

One concerned fan commented: "I think it sounds like their last song."

"If this is their last album together I don't think I'll be able to move on. Please don't let this be their last," another added.

Little Mix lost its fourth member when Jesy Nelson quit the band last year citing mental health issues.

She recently released her debut track Boyz, which led to accusations of blackfishing, which Jesy's former bandmate Leigh-Anne was reported to have contributed to.
