JADE hopes to return to the studio in 2026 to begin her second studio album.

Following the whirlwind success of her debut solo LP, THAT'S SHOWBIZ BABY!, the former Little Mix star is raring to go on the follow-up.

Sharing her goals for 2026, she told The Independent: "To write another record, push myself even more, travel more, do more gigs and work with some new exciting people."

Elsewhere, she hailed Lily Allen's comeback album, West End Girl, her favourite of the year, and revealed how supportive the Smile singer has been to her since she went solo.

Asked which album she loved the most this year, she told the outlet: "West End Girl by Lily Allen. Every year there’s a huge pop culture moment and I feel like Lily Allen filled that space this year. Giving us something so brutally honest and vulnerable. And I find that really inspiring as a songwriter and artist."

She also said of Lily's deeply vulnerable record, which touches on themes of infidelity and betrayal: "In terms of other cultural moments, obviously, Lily Allen’s album West End Girl created such a wave. I just love it. I think everyone’s been reminded of just how incredibly talented a lyricist and writer Lily is. We didn’t realise we missed her until she came back. Do you know what I mean? She’s been so supportive of me as an artist as well. There’s been some amazing moments for me where I’ve kind of made friends with people I hugely respect in the industry, and Lily Allen is one of them."

This year saw JADE scoop her first solo BRIT Award for Best Pop Act after her debut single, Angel of My Dreams, became a viral hit.

The pop star also made her Glastonbury debut this summer.

She said: "I’m most proud of the BRIT award. To get my first BRIT as a solo artist so early on in my solo career was amazing. Glastonbury is up there. "

Looking to next year, she said: "Doing my own sell-out tour and taking it to the USA and Europe next year is something I’m incredibly proud of because I know just how hard I’ve worked for all those things."
