Jade Goody 's widower Jack Tweed has shared a poignant throwback exactly 12 years after their wedding.
The pair tied the knot in 2009, just one month before Jade tragically lost her battle to cervical cancer - leaving behind Jack, and her two sons she shared with ex Jeff Brazier.
Sharing a snap of the joyous day that took place 12 years ago, Jack wrote: "12 years ago was this special day. Miss u," alongside a heart and prayer emoji.
The poignant post showed the pair pictured as they said "I Do", with Jade dressed in a white sleeveless wedding dress as she gazed into Jack's eyes.
Jack can be seen lovingly holding Jade's hands and smiling.
Jack last year marked the special day on Instagram, writing: "Her smile will always make me smile. 11 years since we married!! Miss you #jadeslegacy #cervicalcancer #smeartest #raiseawareness."
Jack previously confessed in 2019 that ten years after Jade's passing he didn't feel ready to move on.
"I don’t think I’ll get over it because I don’t think you can," he said at the time.
“I’m not going to not miss her. I’m never going to forget about her. I’m always going to think about her. I’m always going to regret her not being here.
“If I say it ruined my life, it’s like making it about me. I don’t like saying that, but it did."
After Jade passed away in 2009, Jeff, 41, to raise the pair's sons Bobby, now 17, and Freddie, now 15, on his own.
The Big Brother star and Jeff split in 2004, the same year Freddie was born.
Since Jade's death, Jeff has gone to great efforts to ensure she remains an enduring presence in her son's lives.
He previously revealed the three of them have monthly discussions about Jade and visit her grave every Christmas to remember her.
