Jade Goody's son Bobby starts work as apprentice as dad Jeff Brazier shares his pride

Jeff Brazier is proud of his eldest son Bobby as he started the first day of his new job soon after leaving school.

An overwhelmed Jeff, 40, shared a tweet revealing that the 16-year-old is starting an apprenticeship in social media after deciding to take on a more vocational role instead of continuing his studies.

TV presenter Brazier who shares two sons with reality star Jade Goody , shared a montage of photos of Bobby as a youngster as well as some more recent photos.

On Twitter he wrote: "Such a proud day. Bob starts his apprenticeship in London.

"So much progress has been made in such short time and I feel immensely satisfied knowing that he has all of the tools to go and develop at his own pace into whatever he wishes to become. Much love."

Many fans tweeted back words of encouragement to the star after reading the heartwarming message, following the death of their mum Jade to cervical cancer in 2005, aged just 28.

One follower said: "Jade would be so proud"

Brazier explained his son's decision not to take on A-levels, adding that "he knew he didn't want to spend another 2 years studying subjects he wasn't sure he really liked and I'm not one for seeing him go through the motions so I think being in a real working environment is best for him right now".

A three-part documentary by Channel 4 named Jade: The Reality Star Who Changed Britain about their mother's life was released, and this summer Jeff confessed he refused to let sons Bobby, 16 and Freddie, 14, watch it.

He said he thought it would be too difficult for the teenagers to watch the programme which includes "adult themes".

The documentary followed the reality star's rise and fall from grace along with her terminal cancer diagnosis.
