Jacqueline Jossa treated to jungle-themed party as she returns home after I’m A Celebrity

Jacqueline Jossa arrived home from her victorious stint on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! to a lavish party.

The former EastEnders star, 27, landed back in the UK on Wednesday after being crowned Queen of the Jungle in the I’m A Celebrity final on Sunday night, beating fellow soap star Andy Whyment and radio host Roman Kemp.

Jossa’s husband Dan Osborne shared footage on his Instagram Story showing Jossa’s astonishment as she opened her front door to reveal that their house had been covered in jungle-themed decorations, including green and white balloons, leaves and a sign which read “Jungle Jac is back! Welcome home.”

She then ran through the house to be greeted by friends and family.

Another clip showed more decorations including an inflatable snake, in a nod to the terrifying Bushtucker trials that the contestants had to face, and letters spelling out “Queen of the jungle.”

A third video showed a lavish spread of food and drink laid out for guests, including cake, a selection of fruit and a sweet stand.

On Thursday morning, Jossa revealed in an Instagram story that the celebrations were ongoing for her family as her two young daughters, Ella, four, and Mia, one, were “eating cake at 5am.”

“We’ve got jungle cake, we had a bit of a celebration, a surprise that Daniel done for me [sic],” she added. “Now there’s four-year-olds eating cupcakes at 5am, which is great, it’s good news. We’re just enjoying it while it lasts.”

She signed off by revealing that she would now be stepping back from the spotlight to focus on spending time with her family.

“I will keep you updated but I’m going to lay low a little bit and enjoy this time with my family,” she said.

Voting statistics released by ITV on Wednesday revealed that Jossa won I’m A Celebrity by a small margin, receiving 50.61 per cent of the final public vote, while Andy Whyment earned 49.39 per cent.
