Jacqueline Jossa teases explosive EastEnders return with cryptic Lauren Branning remark

Jacqueline Jossa has suggested that she may make an explosive return to EastEnders.

The 27-year-old actress rose to fame on the iconic BBC soap when she played troubled character Lauren Branning.

During a recent candid question and answers session with her 2.8 million Instagram followers, Jac insisted that she would love to get back on the small screen.

The former soap star also sent besotted fans into meltdown when she confessed her love for her Albert Square character Lauren.

Jac shot to fame in 2010 when she bagged the highly sought after role as Max Branning's eldest daughter.

She soon became a household name until her departure in 2018, when Lauren fled to New Zealand with husband Peter Beale and son Louis for a brand new start.

Opening up about a possible return to Albert Square, Jacqueline delighted her followers when she revealed: "Maybe one day."

"I LOVED my time on the show" she continued.

The much loved actress previously revealed that her time on the iconic soap was the best period of her life..

The I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here champion admitted: "I absolutely love EastEnders, love the people, the production and I absolutely love Lauren Branning with all my heart."

Jacqueline left the soap in 2015 when she became pregnant with her first child, Ella, 5 who she shares with husband Dan Osborne as well as their three-year-old daughter Mia.

She later returned in 2016 and remained on the small screen until 2018 when she departed the soap for good.

While the actress has detailed her desires to one day return to the drama-filled Walford, she's also set her sights elsewhere.

During the informative Q&A session, Jacqueline revealed that bagging a part on Call The Midwife would be a career highlight.

"What a dream that would be" she commented about potentially appearing on the BBC One series.

Jacqueline's exciting EastEnders revelation comes after the reality TV star teased a maternity line is in the works.

The exciting update comes after her husband and former TOWIE star Dan Osborne revealed that Jacqueline would love to have another baby.

The ex-EastEnders star admitted that she would love to one day launch a maternity clothing line for expectant mums.

One cheeky Instagram admirer penned: "A maternity range! Most are designed for size two models with a cushion."

Tickled by her fans charming suggestion, Jacqueline pointed and laughed while reading out the comment.
