Jacqueline Jossa's 'doormat' comment is 'breaking' I'm A Celebrity viewers' hearts after final

I'm A Celebrity fans say they are heartbroken after winner Jacqueline Jossa branded herself a "doormat".

The tearful EastEnders actress was speaking to Ant & Dec just moments before beating fellow soap star Andy Whyment to be crowned Queen of the Jungle.

While Jacqueline has been in the jungle other half Dan Osborne has been fighting back against .

Discussing her time on the show, an emotional Jossa said: "It was not what I expected.

"It was a lot harder. I didn't think it would be such a turning point in life, I went in as one person, I feel like I have come out as a different person.

"I've grown in confidence and found who I am as a person."

She added: "I think it's so easy to care so much what other people think of you, trolls, people who say nasty things for the sake of it and I try to change their opinion.

"Here you have no choice, you have to be you. Here I have different people bigging me up of different ages, I can't really work out what is happening.

"I've always been known as Lauren from EastEnders, or a doormat, or whatever you want to call it, and coming here I have actually proved myself."

It is not the first time she has referred to herself as a doormat.

Before she went in the jungle, she said she expected her former co-stars to be surprised she was taking part.

She said: "I think people think I am a pushover or a doormat.

"I also think some people pity me. I want to show I am fine, I am up for a laugh and that I will go for it and try my best."

Husband Dan has furiously denied the claims made by his former Celebrity Big Brother co-star Chloe Ayling and indicated he will seek legal advice.

Osbourne flew out to Australia with the couple's daughters to be there to greet her at the famous bridge when she triumphantly left I'm a Celeb on Sunday as the Queen of the Jungle.

Famous for playing Lauren Branning on Eastenders from 2010 to 2018, the 27-year-old married n June 2017, and they have two daughters together: Ella, four, and Mia, one.

Twitter viewers flocked to have their say, with one writing: "Jac just made my heart break", while a second added: "Jacqueline is making me sad!"

"She's such a worthy winner," added another, while a fourth said: "Jacqueline has done herself proud."
