Jacoby Brissett suffered MCL sprain vs. Steelers

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Jacoby Brissett suffered a knee injury against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday during a 26-24 loss at Heinz Field.

Head coach Frank Reich told the media after the game that the team believed it was an MCL sprain but was waiting to run more tests to see the severity of the injury.

While the team still doesn’t know the timeline for recovery, the injury has been confirmed by Mike Chappell of Fox 59.

Brissett played just 15 snaps before leaving with the knee injury. It happened when left guard Quenton Nelson got blocked into the quarterback and fell on his knee.

The 26-yer-old’s status for the Week 10 home game against the Miami Dolphins is still up in the air. Brian Hoyer will under center if Brissett can’t go.
