Jacob Zuma gets 15-month jail sentence for contempt of court

In tonight's edition: In a historic ruling, South Africa's top court hands the country's former president Jacob Zuma a 15-month jail term for "egregious" contempt of court after he refused to appear before graft investigators. Also, rebel fighters in Ethiopia's war-hit Tigray region seize more territory after taking the regional capital Mekele on Monday. And as Africa continues to fall behind in the global race to vaccinate its population against Covid-19, NGOs say the problem goes beyond a lack of supply and that a more holistic approach is needed.
