Jackson Mason: Heartfelt tributes pour in for 'one of a kind' Fenwick dad

Emotional tributes have been pouring in for Fenwick man Jackson Mason.

The 31-year-old's body was discovered on Sunday afternoon at West Tannacrieff.

He was missing for over 10 weeks before the discovery was made, and now hundreds of tributes have been pouring in for the East Ayrshire dad after police today confirmed he had been found dead.

His uncle Allan Parris was devastated by the news and described him as "one of a kind" saying his smile could light up a dark room.

Allan posted on social media saying: "Everybody is hurting, if you only knew how loved you were.

"You are at peace now Jackson we will never forget you.

"I am getting messages from all over Britain regarding you, even got messages from Australia, Canada and Thailand.

"I hope in months or even years to come this song [Everybody Hurts by R.E.M] is played somewhere and anybody who hears it says 'this song reminds me of Jackson'.

"Can't believe you are gone, such a confident young handsome boy with a smile that would light up any dark place.

"Yes Jackson, when you walked into a room you would light it up.

"Your poor mum, son and two sisters Shari and Caitlin who loved you so much.

"You were a great boy who was adored and loved by hundreds, you were very well known in Kilmarnock and beyond, 'Wee Pump Action Jackson'.

"You were truly one-of-a-kind and I am so proud to be called your uncle.

"Sleep tight Jackson God bless you son."

And a friend of Jackson's added: "Rest in peace auld buddy auld pal, go and get the rest of the gang, I'm sure there'll be some party up there with you all.

"Thinking of his mum Angie, his sisters, son all of his family, you are all in my thoughts."

Another added: "Fly high Jackson you were some boy, heart of gold.

"Always had banter anytime I saw him never passed me in the street would rev that engine or beep lol bless you.

"God needed you up in heaven and I hope you're at peace now pal, thinking of all the family.

"I’m so so sorry for your loss, Jackson will be so proud of you all. Kilmarnock is a sad place tonight my heart is sore for you all."
