Jackson Irvine has called for perspective in the aftermath of Hibs' bitter Scottish Cup Final disappointment.
The Easter Road side slipped meekly to a 1-0 Hampden defeat to St Johnstone - their third loss at the national stadium this season.
Despite clinching third place in the Premiership, defeats in two cup semi-finals and now a final has stirred a bubbling frustration among supporters.
Shaun Rooney's header was enough to see off Jack Ross' side on Saturday and they failed to really trouble the Double winners from Perth.
But midfielder Irvine, whose Hibs future is yet to be decided, insists there are still plenty of positives to be drawn from the campaign.
He wrote on Twitter: "After a tough and emotional couple of days I think it’s important to recognise the achievements of the team this season despite the overwhelming disappointment of Saturday.
"I wish we were able to give the fans and everyone at the club the day we all so desperately wanted.
"I am still enormously proud of what we achieved as a group, players and all staff."
