Jackson Hastings has been named at fullback for Wigan Warriors in their Super League clash with Hull KR.
Hastings, the 2019 Man of Steel, has been arguably Wigan's best player this season playing in his similar position at halfback.
But, in the absence of Bevan French, Zak Hardaker and Jai Field, head coach Adrian Lam has decided to move Hastings into the fullback role in Wigan's first game since the embarrassing loss to Catalans Dragons.
Oliver Gildart and Liam Marshall are welcomed back into the side for the first time this season after recovering from injuries while Willie Isa is also back in the squad after a several week absence.
Kai Pearce-Paul is the fourth and final personnel change. Dom Manfredi and Morgan Smithies both drop out, as well as the suspended Hardaker and Umyla Hanley.
Harry Smith is given a start in the halves alongside Tommy Leuluai. Liam Farrell returns to the back-row after filling in at centre.
Hull KR are without Man Of Steel leader Jordan Abdull after he failed a HIA while his halfback partner, Rowan Milnes, is also absent after being stood down due to COVID. That sees Brad Takairangi move into the halves to partner Mikey Lewis, with Greg Minikin moving to centre. Albert Vete replaces Kobin Sims.
