Jackie Shroff: I sang 'Yaad aa raha hai tera pyaar' whenever I met Bappi Lahiri - Exclusive!

Like many of us, Bollywood star Jackie Shroff too is in deep shock after learning about the demise of Bollywood singer Bappi Lahiri. The singer's death has left the entire country devastated. His fans are mourning his death and are praying for his soul to rest in peace.

"My heartfelt condolences to his family," Jackie Shroff expressed as he mourned the loss. Recalling their meetings, Jackie shares an anecdote, "I used to sing my favourite song, 'Yaad aa raha hai, tera pyaar' whenever I met Bappi da. The last time I met him was before the lockdown. So it's been quite a long time we haven't met. He shall be missed. RIP! Bappi Lahiri."

Bappi Lahiri, who suffered from various health issues, succumbed to obstructive sleep apnea. The singer not only contributed to Bollywood, but also sang and composed in various other languages. His song, 'Bambai se aya mera dost' and 'I am a disco dancer' are some of his specially acclaimed songs.
