Jack Wilshere and Andy Carroll fit for West Ham ahead of Manchester City test

Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed both Andy Carroll and Jack Wilshere will be available for West Ham as he faces his former employers Manchester City at London Stadium on Saturday.

Carroll has been missing since an ankle injury picked up in pre-season and has not featured since an appearance off the bench against Manchester United in May, though did take part in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Brentford during the international break.

Wilshere, meanwhile, suffered a setback due to inflammation following ankle surgery on a loose screw from a previous injury and will be looking to impress quickly after a slow start to life at West Ham.

It was confirmed earlier this week that the Hammers will be without summer signing Ryan Fredericks until the New Year after the former Fulham full-back sustained an injury to his left fibula during the 1-1 draw at Huddersfield.

Pellegrini, though, will be able to call upon captain Mark Noble once more after he served a three-match suspension following a red card at Leicester earlier this season.
