Jack P Shepherd isn’t holding back when it comes to his Celebrity Big Brother housemates – and it’s safe to say they won’t be getting a wedding invite anytime soon.
Just days after being crowned the winner during Friday’s (April 25) live final, the Coronation Street star had a bit of cheeky banter about his time in the house. Jack beat some big names to take the title, including RuPaul’s Drag Race UK’s Danny Beard, American star JoJo Siwa, and Love Island favourite Chris Hughes, reports OK!.
Appearing on Good Morning Britain on Monday (April 28), Jack spoke about his win and was quizzed by GMB’s showbiz editor Richard Arnold about whether any of his Big Brother pals made the wedding guest list.
Richard asked: “Anyone from the Big Brother house allowed?”
Jack didn’t hold back, saying: “No, I don’t think so. Come on. I’ve only known them for three weeks. I’ve got a guest list a mile long.” He then added with a grin: “Chris keeps asking for an invite, don’t he? I’m like ‘I don’t think you will, pal'” before joking: “I haven’t even told him the date.”
Jack’s big day is already set to be a special one. He met his fiancée, Hanni Trewee, behind the scenes at Coronation Street, where she was working as a storyline writer and researcher. They started dating in 2017 and went public in early 2018, with Jack telling OK! Magazine that Hanni is his “soulmate”.
The pair has been pretty open about their future plans, too. During an appearance on Loose Women, Jack and Hanni talked about marriage and kids. Hanni said: “I think we fell quite quickly and from that we just clicked, and we were on the same page, and you do have those conversations, but yeah, I think we would like to… in the future.”
And it’s not just talk — Jack popped the question during a safari holiday in Tanzania in June 2024. Hanni was quick to share the happy news on Instagram, posting: “05.06.24 I said YES to forever!!!”
Just five months later, in October, the loved-up couple announced they’d locked in a date for their big day. So while Jack’s Celebrity Big Brother housemates might have to sit this one out, it sounds like the guest list is already packed with the people who matter most.
