Jack P Shephard trolls former co-star Lucy Fallon with jokey comment on Instagram

Corrie favourite Jack P Shepherd couldn't resist poking fun when he spotted something comical about a photo shared by former co-star Lucy Fallon.

Jack, who plays David Platt in Coronation Street, raised laughs when he made a comment on a picture posted by Lucy on her Instagram.

Lucy, who played David's niece Bethany in the show, looked serene as she took a selfie in the mirror in a monochrome vest top.

"Shave ya pits," he wrote cheekily.

Fans responded with laughing emojis and one told the joker: "Only you."

This isn't the first time Jack, 33, has directed a playful message at Lucy, 25.

Last year he left an unexpected message in her leaving card as she left the famous cobbles.

Written on the card was: "To Lucy, F**k Off Jack."

Lucy played Bethany in the ITV soap from 2015 to 2020.

During her time on the soap, her character was at the centre of a hard-hitting and highly acclaimed storyline that saw her teen character groomed by tanning shop boss Nathan Curtis.

The character left for a writing job in London in March last year following a romance with widower Daniel Osbourne who proposed to her on the rebound.

In May 2019, announcing her decision to leave, Lucy wrote in a statement on Twitter: "After the most incredible four years, I have made the extremely difficult decision to leave Coronation Street at the end of my contract in 2020.

"It’s hard to put into words how much this show means to me.

"I’ve made lifelong friends with some of the most talented and hardworking people in the industry, I’ve had some terrific and immensely important storylines and I’ve laughed with the best people everyday.

"I’m so thankful to Iain (Corrie boss Iain MacLeod) and everyone at Coronation Street, I owe everything to them and I will miss them greatly."
