Jack Hendry is on the verge of a stunning £6million transfer deadline day move to Club Brugge.
And that could mean a dream Champions League showdown with Lionel Messi next move for the Scotland stopper.
The Belgian champions have turned their attention to the former Celtic and Dundee man after his standout displays for their Jupiler Pro League rivals Oostende.
Hendry’s move to Oostende was only made permanent two months ago following a successful loan spell from the Hoops.
The Belgians paid £1.75 million to land the 26-year-old but Brugge are ready to shell out big bucks to get their man.

Hendry is currently on international duty with Steve Clarke’s men ahead Wednesday night’s clash with Denmark to kick off a World Cup qualifying double header.
But Record Sport understands he could undergo a medical today ahead of the move.
Brugge had been tracking Juventus starlet Koni De Winter but have failed to reach an agreement for the Belgian teenage starlet.
And Hendry has now shot to the top of their list with the Scotland ace also reportedly attracting interest from Newcastle, Southampton and West Brom and Torino.
Club Brugge won their 17th Belgian title last season to qualify for the Champions League and have been pitched into a glamour group with PSG, Manchester City and RB Leipzig.
Their opening fixture in Group A is against Messi and Co when the French Ligue 1 giants head to Belgium on September 15.
And if Hendry can complete his move that would leave him in line for a showdown with the Argentina and Barcelona legend.
