KV Oostende's Jack Hendry returned to action as his side were beaten 5-3 in a thriller against Mechelen.
The Celtic loanee was on the wrong end of a wild challenge by Mehdi Carcela of Standard Liege and landed awkwardly on his shoulder.
Hendry was sent for scans and had there been ligament damage it could have meant missing out on Euro 2020 for Scotland.
But there was good news for Steve Clarke as the centre-back started for Oostende against Mechelen.
Hendry played 72 minutes of a 5-3 defeat, and was taken off with his side 3-2 down.
Despite the score his return will be a big boost for Scotland ahead of Euro 2020.
Hendry's form in Belgium earned him a call-up for the most recent fixtures and he could be set for a long-term stay.
Oostende have an option to buy in the deal that took him from Celtic and are expected to take it up in the summer.
