Celtic's Jack Hendry admits he's suddenly got a range of options as to where he'll continue his career after starring at this summer's Euros.
A loan move at Belgium's surprise package KV Oostende has revitalised the centre-back's career, providing an improbable Scotland call-up for the month-long tournament in the process and suddenly putting him in a continental shop window including a Wembley showdown with England.
Signed by Brendan Rodgers in winter 2018, Hendry was struggling at Parkhead before the season just passed but has gone from being frozen out to hot property.
Oostende remain desperate to keep the defender while there's also said to be interest from English teams towards the lower end of the Premier League and the Championship.
Meanwhile he's still got a year to run on his Celtic deal and insists game time is a necessity wherever he plays - but he's happy to let things fall into place after playing his part in Euro 2020.
Speaking after his screamer on Wednesday night helped the Scots to a 2-2 friendly draw against the Netherlands, he said: “My main focus is just on the Euros and whatever happens afterwards will happen.
“The most important thing for me next season is playing regularly at the highest level possible.
“I think my game has come on a lot this year by playing games.
“I’m in a position now where I’ve got doors open.
“But even so, I’m not got any other distractions right now. I’m concentrating on these group stages and then we’ll see what happens afterwards.”
