Jack Hendry will leave Celtic to join KV Oostende on a permanent deal.
But the Belgians could look to cash in on the Scotland defender after Euro 2020.
The Daily Record reports that Hendry has agreed a three-year deal with the club he’s spent the last season on loan at.
The former Dundee youngster has impressed on the continent and his form earned him a spot in Steve Clarke ’s squad for the finals, which kick-off for the Scots against the Czech Republic at Hampden next week.
Hendry netted his first international goal in last week’s 2-2 draw with the Netherlands.
However, his displays in Belgium haven’t gone unnoticed and there is interest in the 26-year-old from cubs across Europe.
Oostende have agreed terms with Hendry and will pay the Hoops £1.5million to sign him on a permanent basis.
But they know that Hendry won’t necessarily be around for long so they are moving to try and secure a profit should that interest turn into serious offers.
Jupiler League rivals OH Leuven are thought to be interested. They have a link up with Leicester City, so a switch there could eventually lead to a reunion with former boss Brendan Rodgers further down the line should Hendry’s impressive from continue.
