Jack Harrison's message over complacency after Leeds United return to the top of the table

After two victories in four days, Leeds United have overtaken West Bromwich Albion and sit at the top of the Championship.

Jack Harrison, who scored the late winner, told LUTV that the team weren't getting carried away, despite their league position.

"We try not to get too complacent," he said.

"We know what happened last year, we know how to avoid that.

"I think as a squad we'll not get too complacent where we are, continue to work hard like we are doing and just take it game by game and not get too ahead of ourselves and we've got to continue doing that."

Last season Leeds were top of the table for large parts of the season. After mid-February they lost the top spot and eventually drifted into the play-offs with four games to go.

Next up for Leeds United is a visit from Middlesbrough who currently sit in 22nd position in the Championship, managed by former Leeds United defender Jonathan Woodgate.

Harrison said: "It's an extremely tough league but it's the same for everyone. Three matches in the last two weeks and we've got another one this Saturday.

"We've got to get back on track and not get too complacent and get focused again for that game."
