Jack Grealish might not have fully lived up to expectations since joining Manchester City from Aston Villa last summer, but there is no denying that the affable 26-year-old is becoming a fan-favourite.
Grealish's likeable personality was clear to see during his post-match interview following City's 2-0 FA Cup win against Peterborough United on Tuesday.
When asked about the superb Phil Foden pass that set up his goal, Grealish admitted that he and his young England teammate watched videos of Lionel Messi highlights during the coach journey to London Road.
He hailed Foden for what was a fairly solid Messi impression and this refreshing anecdote got us thinking: what were the other City players watching on their way to the game? We have a feeling there might have been quite a variety.
Ederson
While Foden was plotting how to pull-off a Messi-esque assist for his best mate, Ederson was splitting his sides watching clips from Dirty Sanchez and Jackass.
The Brazilian might be good with the ball at his feet, but slaloming through defenders just isn't as fun as firing yourself out of a canon, or shaving your sleeping mate's head.
Rodri
Rodri only stoops to goading and chaos when he's on the pitch. When he's off it, he's more focused on expanding his mind and (perhaps unsuccessfully) trying to convince his teammates to do the same.
Now that he has finished his degree in business administration and management, the laid back holding midfielder has downloaded a few taster courses to help him choose what to do for his post-grad.
He can't decide between economics and football business, but with Ederson laughing like a hyena a few rows behind him, he can't concentrate. Why is everyone so unsophisticated?
Pep Guardiola
For Pep, every moment is a chance to learn and improve. If you're not moving forwards, then you're going backwards.
That's why he's chewing the ears off Rodolfo Borrell as his assistant tries switch off for a bit. Pep's filmed his own tactical videos and uploaded them to his own private YouTube channel that only his coaches know about, but that's not all.
He's got his wife to film him tasting different red wines and trying new cigars. He thinks it's brilliant. Rodolfo smiles and nods.
Scott Carson
Scott has life pretty good at the moment. In return for a decent wage, he gets to train with the best team in the world and travel all over the country and Europe without the pressure of actually having to play.
As a 36-year-old third-string goalkeeper he has a bit more time on his hands than most, which is why he is spending a lot of his spare time planning his retirement in the Lake District..
He's watching Grand Designs on catch-up and is particularly fond of the way a couple from Cornwall have included a sun terrace and swimming pool in their barn conversion. Trouble is, it rains a lot in his native Cumbria.
Gabriel Jesus and Riyad Mahrez
Jesus and Mahrez are 100% the kind of guys who watch music videos in their entirety on YouTube.
They've got a nice little Brazil-Algeria music exchange going on, fair enough, but lads, just use Spotify or Apple Music like everyone else.
And put your earphones in for God's sake. Rodri's fuming and we don't want to see any more angry topless knee slides.
Ruben Dias
There'll be no screentime for City's talismanic defensive leader on the way to the stadium.
This is a time to focus the mind. Dias is browsing his well-thumbed copy of Sun Tzu's The Art Of War.
And yes, he's already highlighted some of his favourite passages.
