Jack Grealish sends message to Bukayo Saka as defender set for Arsenal medical ahead of transfer

Here's all the news from around the Emirates Stadium over the past 24 hours.

Grealish calls out Saka after Brighton game

Aston Villa star Jack Grealish isn't letting Bukayo Saka off the hook just yet after his goal against Chelsea on Boxing Day.

Saka scored the Gunners ' third goal in their 3-1 win against their London rivals over Christmas, in rather fortunate style, with the 19-year-old looking like he crossed the ball past Edouard Mendy.

The teenage sensation was once again a star in Arsenal's 1-0 win over Brighton on Tuesday evening, setting up Alexandre Lacazette for the only goal of the game.

Grealish commented on Rob Holding's Instagram live, saying: "Bukayo stop lying saying u meant to chip the keeper", accompanied by some laughing emojis (via the Metro ).

Saka replied: "Bro I saw him off his line. Stop hating."

How much Arsenal will pay for Rekik

Hertha Berlin defender Omar Rekik will become an Arsenal player next month, and he could be loaned back out to Germany as part of the deal.

According to BILD, the Gunners will have to pay €600,000 (£542,000) for the teenager, with Hertha granting him permission to undergo a medical with the Gunners.

Rekik looked as if he would sign for Mikel Arteta 's side over the summer transfer window, but a deal never materialised.

The Netherlands-born Rekik, a senior Tunisian international who has previously played at youth level for the likes of Feyenoord, Manchester City, PSV and Marseille, has been told by Per Mertesacker that he will be able to train with the senior squad when he does join.

Pepe's Gunners career could be over

Bukayo Saka's recent form for Arsenal could prove to be a bad thing for £72m signing Nicolas Pepe.

Pepe arrived at the Gunners last summer from French club Lille, but has failed to make a serious impression under Unai Emery and now Arteta.

Saka's form since breaking into the first-team last season, and followed by his strong start to the current campaign, may not bode too well for the Ivory Coast winger.

The 19-year-old has been sensational for Arteta's side so far this season, most recently providing the assist for the only goal of the game against Brighton.

In the game before, the teenage prospect scored Arsenal's third and final goal as they secured a much-needed 3-1 win against Chelsea.
