Jack Grealish sends cheeky transfer message in Instagram post with Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham

Jack Grealish has sent Aston Villa into a social media frenzy after posting a picture on holiday with Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham.

The forward spent the 2018-19 campaign on loan at Villa Park and scored 26 goals as the Lions secured a return to the top-flight.

But following the appointment of Frank Lampard as the new boss at Stamford Bridge, Abraham was given a chance in the Blues first team.

And it was a chance he took as Abraham netted 19 goals this season in what has been a breakthrough year for the striker at Stamford Bridge.

But with Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech having already moved to Stamford Bridge and Kai Havertz also strongly linked to the Blues, Lampard has clearly been keen to bolster his attack for next season.

And Villa captain Grealish, who is good friends with Abraham and is currently relaxing in the close season in the attacker’s company, fuelled that speculation with a cheeky post to his followers in which he is seen enjoying some down-time with his old teammate.

But in comments recently reported by the Express, Abraham said he is already used to having to fight for a starting space.

"This is Chelsea Football Club, there's always going to be high standards and high competition and this is something I've been dreaming of since I was a kid," he said

"I've always been fighting for it, it's never come easy, it wasn't easy at the start of the season but I worked my way into the team and that's what I've got to keep doing."

Before adding: "It's been a phenomenal season for myself and for the lads. I couldn't ask for a better season.

"I've had a few niggles here and there but I've come off stronger and build myself for next season. Start well and end well.

"That's my aim and as I said, that's the level I want to get to so I have to raise my bar and go again."
