Jack Grealish's agent Jonathan Barnett has confirmed that no deal for the Aston Villa star has been struck with anyone.
Speculation continues to swirl that the midfielder will be on his way this summer with Villa fighting to avoid the drop.
Grealish has been a rare bright light at Villa Park and has been linked with a switch to Manchester United.
But Barnett told Stretty News that “absolutely no deal has been done with anybody.”
The 24-year-old is Villa's leading goalscorer this term having netted nine times.
He is also the Premier League's most fouled player, but Barnett maintains, despite the interest, that Grealish is focused on keeping his boyhood club in the top flight.
He added: “I don’t think they’re [Aston Villa] looking at the Championship themselves, they believe that hopefully they’ll get out of the trouble they’re in.
“Jack believes it, he’s fighting hard, as hard as he can to stop that. That’s all that is on his mind at the moment.
“He’s not interested in anything else other than fighting to get Aston Villa out of any trouble.”
Nevertheless, Barnett was open to the reality that Grealish will be a wanted man and looks capable of playing for a top side.
He refused to give any clues as to where that could end up but did open the door for a move abroad.
Barnett continued: “On the other hand, I think as far as his career is concerned, it would be great for him to play in the Champions League and develop his great skills and i’m not sure in which country or where that will be.
“But that conversation won’t happen now because all he wants to do is fight and help Aston Villa.”
